On your arrival, you will be escorted to your hotel to settle in. After having rest for a while you will take a stroll through the Paro town.
Overnight: Paro
Today you will be visiting Paro’s Paro’s Rinpung Dzong And the Ta dzong-the National Museum. You will cross the cantilever bridge of the 16th century on the way down. For the rest of the day, you will take a tour of farmhouse & observe the traditional Bhutanese way of life & work
Overnight: Thimphu
Today you will take a drive to the glacial valley of Phobjikha via Dochula. This glacial pass offers a panoramic view of Bhutan’s Himalayan ranges. En route catch, the great monastery of Gangtey, established in the 17th century. Discover Gangtey village & Phobjikha valley-home of black-necked cranes.
Overnight at a hotel.
Today you will drive to Gangtey & visit Gangtey Monastery. The gangtey valley is a beautiful valley & a home to the rare Black Necked Cranes. The village folks are not allowed to make loud noises or fish in the river that runs through the valley. Explore the amazing valley of glaciers and Drive back to Punakha.
After 1-2 hours of drive you will reach Punakha & visit Punakha Dzong.
The Punakha Dzong is the old capital of Bhutan. Built between two rivers, this impressive fortress has survived several glacial floods and a burn. Later you will take a visit to traditional Bhutanese farm houses.
Today you will hike to Haa Valley via chele La pass. The chele La pass offers Incredible views of Paro & Haa Valley. Take some time to adore the views offered by mother nature & return to Paro for overnight stay.
On this day you will hike to Taktsang Monastery(tiger’s Nest monastery).
A steep uphill climb will take you to the monastery which is awe-inspiring for many. The Tiger’s nest monastery is one of the holy pilgrimage sites & the most photographed spot of paro valley.
After having the morning breakfast, you will be escorted to the paro international airport for your final departure.
