Kailash yatra with Pashupatinath & Muktinath 17 days combines holy yatra of Asia’s most important shrine. Our 17 days Kailash Yatra starts & ends in Kathmandu, Nepal. On your arrival in Kathmandu, you will visit Pashupatinath & Guhyeshwari Temple. The Guhyeshwari Temple is also a Shakti Peetha which is about 1 km east of Pashupatinath. Next, you will fly to Lake city of Pokhara followed by a drive to Muktinath. On your arrival at Tribhuvan international airport, our representative will pick you up & escort you to your hotel. Later in the evening, you will join us for a welcome dinner & we will have a short briefing on this tour.
Today you will spend half day sightseeing the UNESCO world heritage site Pashupatinath. You can choose to catch early morning activities like aarti. Later you will fly to Pokhara. Pokhara is the lake city of Nepal surrounded by the Himalayas.
Start your day with a flight to Jomsom. It’s going to take a min 15 minutes to reach Jomsom. On reaching Jomsom, you will drive to Muktinath via private vehicle. It’s a 3-hour long journey to the Muktinath temple. The Muktinath temple is sacred to both Hindus and Buddhists. It is considered to be a Shakti Peetha for a yatra & consists of 108 Dhara named “Muktidhara” (continuously flowing) just behind the Temple. After a special ritual at Muktinath temple, drive back to Jomsom again.
Fly early in the morning to Pokhara from Jomsom. While at Pokhara, explore boating at Phewa lake, Talbarahi temple, Davi falls, Gupteswor Mahadev and Bindabasini temple. Later take an evening flight to Kathmandu.
Start your sightseeing from Ason Bazaar & then to Basantapur. Basantapur is known for Kathmandu Durbar Square. Next, you will visit Swayambhunath Stupa(monkey temple), which is one of the oldest Buddhist sites in Nepal.
Start with a ride to Syabrubesi early in the morning. your journey to Langtang valley will be through roadways. You will be driving alongside Trishuli river to Galchhi and Dhunche for nearly 7-8 hours before reaching the habitat of Syabrubesi, the trading post of Kathmandu and Tibet. On a clear day, you get to enjoy the breath-taking view of Ganesh range, Annapurna range and Manaslu.
From Shyabrubesi, You will drive towards Rasuwa Gadhi(newly opened Nepal and Tibet China Border). En route, you will pass through paddy fields and picturesque villages and rivers. On reaching the Kerung/Kyirong border, clear Immigration and customs formalities on both sides (Nepal & China) drive to Kyirong, the small town of China.
Stop at saga for acclimatization day. You will take a short hike around the valley for warm-up. It helps your body to adjust with the altitude.
Today you will drive towards Mansarovar lake. It’s an important day for you. Fill up with spiritual jaal, at this sacred site.
Spend your day doing the rituals at Mansarovar lake & then drive to Darchen for overnight stay.
Taking a short drive from Darchen, you will reach Tarboche and visit Yam Dwar. Now, head to Dirapuk which is a 12km trek. This day is the first day of your Kailash parikrama. You will visit the North Face of Mt Kailash touching the feet of Mt. Kailash
Trek from Dirapuk to Dolma La Pass to Dzuthul-Puk 6-7 hours of journey. It is the most challenging journey in the yatra as you have to climb up to 4760 m but it is definitely worth it. Descend to Gauri Kunda & carry on to Dzuthul-Puk alongside the river.
This day will be the end of the Kailash kora. You will drive back to saga leaving this holy place. The journey to saga covers 8 hours.
Take a drive towards Keyrong, Chinese border. After customs formalities, you will continue to Syabrubesi.
Start the day with a ride to Kathmandu through countryside roads. You will be driving alongside Trishuli river to reach Kathmandu
Today is the leisure day so you are allowed to spend your day the way you want. Kathmandu local streets are a great place for last-minute shopping.

Our packages are on a twin sharing basis. Single supplement will be available in Kathmandu and partially in mountains on request and will cost an additional USD 350
We can enjoy Nepalese food as well Tibetan, Continental, Italian, Indian, during this tour. We will have breakfast dinners in the lodges from their menu and lunch will be provided in the tea houses while walk every day. All three meals will be served on trek and exclusive breakfast will be provided in cities like in Kathmandu.
